Trash & Recycling
GFL is the provider of community trash collection and recycling services
Regular household waste is picked up on Tuesday and Friday, beginning at 7:00 a.m. Recycling and heavy trash are collected on Friday only. Garbage can capacity must be less than 50 gallons and weigh less than 45
lbs when placed at curbside. Please don't leave trash in bags on the curb overnight as this encourages rodents, raccoons and possums.
Grass clippings do not need to be in
biodegradable bags. Tree/shrub branches must be bundled for pickup and cut to 4' lengths.
Recycling is picked up on Friday and each household has one recycling containger. GFL has provided a list of approved items for recycling.
Contact GFL at 281-368-8397 or 281-953-1473 to schedule heavy oversized pickups or to inquiry about additional recycling containers.
Security
NWCC has contracted with the Precinct 5 Constable's office to patrol our neighborhood. The dispatch number is 281-463-6666. Always dial 9-1-1 in an emergency.
Please contact them at 281-463-6666 to report any suspicious behavior or to share a security concern. The constable recommends that you list Precinct 5 as the first contact on your home security system as they are able to respond faster than the Houston Police Department.
