NWCC Deed Restrictions mandate that the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) reviews and approves all exterior changes or upgrades to the front, sides and back of residential properties, if visible from the street or visible to back and side neighbors including major landscaping updates.
Paint color, roofing materials, window replacements, exterior lighting, door and garage door replacements or painting, driveway and sidewalk reconstruction and major landscape changes are examples of the kind of changes that have to be reviewed and approved by the ACC prior to any modification be made to property.
The ACC is also responsible for reviewing design plans and approving new construction.
For homeowner concerns that fall outside of NWCC jurisdiction, such as loud neighbors, stray animals, trash/debris or odors coming from behind property fences, rodents, water/drainage problems, please use the City of Houston's 3-1-1 system.
